Inclusion criterea

The status of the patients is evaluated regarding couple of criteria

Regarding the disease:

Patients with metastases to the peritoneum (carcinomatosis)
Patients without metastases outside the abdomen organs (lung, bone marrow)
Patients with up to 5 liver metastases can be treated
Patients in good condition
Patients with absence of severe concomitant diseases (such as heart, kidney, liver or lungs).

How do we evaluate the patient for surgery + HIPEC
Volume disease

The success of treatment is determined by the complete removal of the tumor tissue, which is highly dependent on the volume and location of the disease.
In order to measure the volume of the disease, the location and the predicted success are used peritoneal carcinomatosis index (PCI).
We use a PET scan, computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Sometimes laparoscopy performed for more accurate evaluation.

Summary of chemotherapy (medical history)
Summary of radiotherapy (medical history)
Medical history of surgery
